agreed, but not necessary to slow them down, in a nut shell it is easier to learn throttle control with stock gears. as for brake control, your gonna smoke at least one set of pads

look into also getting a crash cage if you dont have one..if your serious about the slow stuff,and make sure your pads are good now and you have fresh,clean fluid in your brake system,its not fun pressing the brake pad and nothing hardly happens,on one wheel or two..
