900RR parts
Hey,
I just picked up a 94 900RR for stunting. This is my 1st honda as I am a Suzuki guy so I dont know much about them. I have 2 questions.
The front breaks are realy bad. I think one rotor is shot bad!! Any way what year bikes can I exspect to work on this I need 1 or 2 rotors. Havent pulled off the whell yet.
2nd one is the back brakes suck bad. Is this aHonda thing or should I replace every thing from oi and lines and pads.
Im going to trash this thing but want to have it safe. So any help would be great.

Re: 900RR parts
you will need 93-95 model year for the rotors...i have a set of straight ones, make me an offer.
i also have a some other parts that i've been too lazy to sell:
extra front and rear rims for your year,
extra front brake setup including calipers, lines, reservoir, and part that bolts to bars
extra front and rear rims for a 96-97 with rotors as well.
maybe rear brake assembly
lemme know

yeah this is what i ment to say

Re: 900RR parts
i could have swore that with rotors: 98-99 are the same, but will not fit on a 96-97 which are the same, and then i though 93-95 were the same...
i know the body styles went by those years, or so i think! lol
either way, i have 99 rotors, 97 rotors, and i guess 95 rotors...the old skool rotors (95) have a crap load of holes in the rotors themeselves....and i know none of us ever had any parts older than 95...anyways. my days of RR's are done, i'm onto krapasakis now!
hit me up if you think you want anything i got...it is just sitting in my attic collecting dust

Re: 900RR parts
thats another way you can tell, 95 thru 99 all have the 3 hole pattern if you can picture what im saying, 93 and 94 look like swiss cheese. hell have him acuratly mesure the center hole in his rotors, the 93/94 are a 1/4 inch bigger in diameter. you cant go by measuring the bolt holes center to center either cause the pattern size is the same for all the years, i went thru 2 sets off e-bay b4 i found out what i was doing wrong...it really sucked...

Re: 900RR parts
Just toss that 16" front wheel, get a f3 wheel, and then use either f3 or '95-'97 900RR rotors. It will handle better, tankslap less, and you can get better front tires. I did this on my '94 RR, and it made a huge difference as far as handling goes. You just lose the speedo.
