Re: 93 f2 throttle sticking
I had the same problem with my '93 gixxer 750, but my throttle would stay in given position forever, until I return it by hand. I wheelied like that...
now, there are 2 cables connected to throttle, and one has a purpose to return the throttle back, and your's is ****ed up...replace it...
oh no, wait, don't replace it, you can ride no handers... j/k

Re: 93 f2 throttle sticking
i had it happen to me with i put new grips on,i just had to push the kill switch assembly and all that forward,it was pinning the grip between that and the bar end, also try lubing it,the cable might be rusty

Re: 93 f2 throttle sticking
haha clutch cable has nothing to do with throttle... and yeah ur grip is prolly hitting the electronics, also the throttle tube wears off paint on the clip ons, which could cause rust if water got in ur throttle tube. i suggest tottaly taking appart your right clip on.

Re: 93 f2 throttle sticking
it ain't ur clutch as all!!! when u r in a wheelie hell yeah it can be dangerous,it's like having a car getting ready to start up for da 1st time and something's holding tha throttle wide open. Reason why I say that is cause it's happened to me before a buddy of mine own's a high performance shop where I did all his electrical connections and we were starting up a customers 89 mustang w/ over 1000hp! NO JOKE! If that car would of been in gear,I would not be typing to u right now! Check tha throttle cables and/or replace them.

Re: 93 f2 throttle sticking
Take your cables off and look in a manual to see if they're routed right, then lube the cables, spray some carb cleaner on the outside of the carbs= they tend to get gummy= put it all together making sure your grip isn't rubbing on anything.
