Read every Word, been trying these tips out and they work I have been power wheeling my 600 up for a while now but just started bringing the clutch in to play and it's so much easier to get balance point.

lots of good info for learning wheelies on a street bike. you mention several times to first learn on a dirt bike. I know a lot of riders don't have this option but I think it should be stressed highly to first learn on a small dirt bike. it's cheaper safer and easier. launch the bike from a dead stop while dragging both feet on the ground. I got balance point the first day doing this. Knowing what balance point feels like and how hi it is gave me "the *****" you talk about to put my feet on the pegs and start learning to do real wheelies. my 2 cent. BTW i'm still learning and practicing cuz i don't have rear brake dialed in yet
