1 finger clutch/1 finger brake method for ss
I'm working on ss circles and use the 1-cl/1-br method and was wondering how many ppl do that with ss circles. I used to clutch it up and use 2 fingers on the hb but I kept flipping over the front. Maybe too much braking power? I have a 1000rr mc. So I switched to 1/1 to see if it'll help me alittle as far as using the clutch to get out and not just slam down. Will 1 finger be enough braking power? I'm not cutting them yet hence posting this question. plus I want to get used to 1/1 for other tricks down the road. Oh, I do use 2 finger for hc & spreaders. just trying to get some feedback...thanks

if you have the hb bled right you should def only have to use one finger....it may be uncomfortable at first but if you make yourself do it you will be good after a few sessions...def helps when you want to stall out of stuff instead of cuttin out

I def. use the 1-1 finger method for circels... Cause when i stall them, I can easily pull in my clutch lever and by that, save my *** from crashing
My HB doesn't actually brake good enough, so for the high speed HC's or spreaders I also use 2 fingers on the HB...
Seems te work pretty fine... it's hard for me to understand that so many riders don't cover the clutch during circels I'm always amazed by that...

I use 1 /1 method for every hand brake trick i do , that way the clutch is there to save me if i get a little goofy . plus you'll need to learn it that way when you start high chair circles ,special k circles etc , all those will go alot smoother for you if you can work both at the same time , also all off peg coasters < ss , tank , high chair coasters etc ,

yeah i have vortex or fi clips ons , they might be a bit longer than stock, just notice that you should use you clutch on the inside and hand brake on the outside , if you have the right clip ons and the right banjo bolt for your hand brake you should be ok ,

i swtich around depending on what im doing. sometimes im two fingering it, index on clutch, middle on brake. (unless im on my streeter which still doesn't have a moose clutch so it's index on brake and middle on clutch, yes i can two finger and SS coast and stuff on either bike) but other times i just use my index on the brake... depends on what im doing and how i feel at the time!
