only downfall of these things, is i think im right in saying that unless you state that someone is being recorded etc, than it cant be used in court (which is why shops allways advertise that cctv is in opperation, if they didnt tell you and filmed you stealing, the video couldnt be used against you)

you can however use the evidence to get the police to drop the case if there smart,

a few years back i worked for a company and the woman who did the wages (she happened to be the wife of the guy who part owned the company) was a bitch, we openly didnt like each other and never hid it
when off work due to injury i went through some pay slips, and realised that she wasnt paying me properly, and holding back money owed, i called her and knowing what she was like, decided to record the phone call,
long story short, withing a week all the other staff found out, saw thier wages wernt correct and walked out, it was openly known that i had a voice recording of her telling me that she knew she had fiddled the wages, and didnt care as she didnt like me and wouldnt pay any money owed to me because of her disliking, and that simply let to a series of events that cause the whole company to go under within a month

so although they cant be used in court, these devices are brill for ******* people up

They can be used in court - to show corruption and how the system relies on your cooperation.
