I think that alot of people kinda cop out by saying "i don't care about the polotics all i wanna do is ride" this statment usually goes with a free or very cheap show. Another way to look at it is if an immigrant comes over here and wants ur job for half ur wages they say "i don't care about the polotics all i wanna do is work" usually pisses people off.

The difference with that is usually immigrants have a better work ethic and produce the same work, if not better for less money. It pisses the original workers off but if the employer can get the same work for half the expense...

I'm not saying this is always the case, as we have the masses of people coming over exploiting the benefits we give (but at the same time look how many brits do the same) and it depends on the job, but i don't think its a good comparison IMO as normally the 'free' shows are nowhere near the standard of those done by established show riders.

I think that made sense anyway.

EDIT: After reading it, just to claify: I agree with what Dave's said, but not the example he used.

 

you know what really ****'s me off is those riders that do free shows but actully they do still get paid for it and then the same riders get shows that pay and they end up getting pad twice for it !!!!! that really grinds my gears!!!!!

They even undercut other stunters on here to do free shows. That is not good. I'm not bothered about free shows to be fair but under cutting other stunters and doing a free show that's not good.
