well there was no tax, mot or insurance. it was a private land but with public access. so i would beed charged with letting people to use bike like this and my mate who was on a bike with riding with no tax, mot or insurance. we would have been fucked and would not get the bike back. i signed off discalemer so we wont be charged. i dont know if he had right to do so but i dont think i would win.

 

wtf , u shoulda fought that one sounds like a section 59 at the most

thats sucks mate! on private land too! ,you should try do somethin about that go to citezens advice ,i dont see how they can just take your bike off you and you cant get it back,yeah fair enough if you were on the public highway without tax mot insurance but private land ,that takes the ****...welcome to the police state!,theyll be saying we wont be able to ride bikes for fun at all soon ... *******!

 

I'm having a problem too, I'm already on a section 59 and i was riding at my local spot which i have for nearly 2years (not where i got the section 59) and a jobs worth copper came up and even though i was on private land but because the public had access to it, he told me if he had a complaint he prob wouldnt arrest me but would have to do something about it, questioned me on mot/tax insurance, all is ok then said what about public liability which ive got to so he then said i should be displaying a number plate but i was on private land!!! He also said they have the power to stop any pub car park shows because the public have access under the ropes etc then he pissed off for 5mins then came back and filmed me for abit before waving and driving off, i hope i put a good show on for him

 

its a joke aint it he sounds a bit of a jobsworth/hater numpty,def sounds like he was trying to pin somethin on you,shoulda covered him and his car in molten rubber ,feel the love! haha

 

i though you got 2 section 59's , they take bike , you go get back from inpound yard and cycle starts again

 

i got done on private property couple months ago and got summons through last week for undue care attention they also doing me for welded frame with rollers (meaning cage) apparently if its open to public normal road rules apply im going not guilty as the pig only heard screatching and did'nt do his job properly so gotta wait for another summons for trial date its bollocks

 

**** i feel sorry for you guys, ive struck pretty lucky cos ive got gates on my spot, i had a copper down the other week who took half an hour to find his way in an then just asked me if the bike was stolen.....and didnt even check for himself.

I know how you all feel though i had a year of it and through sometimes just runnin an sometimes a bit of good blaggin ive managed to keep the bike luckily, theres nothin worse than not bein able to ride without fear of losin your bike though

 

i feel a street ride coming on to say a BIG **** you to the jobsworth *****!
I remember the days of hitting the streets 20-30 strongs, all with illegal bikes and no licences, ever seen 20 bikes run from one cop car? its hilarious!

 

If that happened to me Id of stopped for a break when he came back

Usually get a couple of bike coppers who wave to us, as they came and spoke to us before and were cool.

But once these two young d-heads came in, and were ok, then came back and told us to go, Adz was going nuts at them

Touch wood I dont get any problems, as I usually shut the gate to the spot if theres no cars in there.

 

good to know that there are some bikes as soon as will have some money will buy one. so pissed off about that and its not about money i lost but also about time and hours that i spend on that bike and now its gonna be ******* paper clips .

 

they say they are going to crush them but in reality the bikes get auctioned off in bulks of 20... You can use my trade account to bid for your bike in 6 months time if you like
