The tube is an Inch with 3mm wall.. The Mount up top is purely to prevent the bike to roll on the tank and I am going to retap the threads to an M10 bolt, so it is a little bit stronger,,,

To be honest I will not know how exactly it would hold until i drop is down the road at 30mph ,,, hopefully it would survive...orrrr

Its called a Surf board tail pad,, Its water proof and has its durable. I have to say the other Ash ( 4shzx6 ) from Northampton had it before me and it seems to do the Job,, here you go mate..

Thats the same as I used. Plenty thick enough! Go thrash on it now.

To be honest i know it weights a bit more but i think as i have removed the fairing and the front lights it counter's it self,, and also a little weight might actually slow me down and save my life...
