Re: standard gearing

if you ride it enough with stock gear you will get used to it and be able to do every thing you could with more gear

Re: standard gearing

Iv always used stock gearing maybe a couple down on the front but it doesnt make such a big diffrence once you get used to it only thing really is its real twitchy and sensitive at the slow slow bits (what i expirienced anyway)

Re: standard gearing

With the launch it is harder but how i learned to launch from stand still was clutching it up from a slow speed and even though it was going faster than i wanted i slowed it down and learned the smoothness on stock gearing so after doing that for abit i started trying from stand still and with the smoothness i learned it made it easier but you will need more revs

thats what i was gunna say lol

i was on standerd gearing for a while and didnt see much diffrent once i got used to it but i did find that it seemed boggyier at low speed but like max said u just need use the clutch a bit more . i also found that about 36 psi was a good tyre pressure for it.

thats good advise , once you get used to how it is gonna feel on the launch you will just learn to let the clutch out differently then when you are geared up , i let the clutch out pretty fast when im riding with a lot of gear but when i run my stock gearing i kind of let it out slower and let the rpms get a little higher

Big mark could kill anything. I'm pretty sure if I handed him a fiat punto he'd still manage to wheelie it without touching the throttle.
