Re: H.D.R photos

95% of the pic's look like real drawings but the 5% gives it away, looks go tho, need some stunt shots now

Re: H.D.R photos

they look really good like the effect alot lee s burnout one is the best imo just too much detail if it was on plain background would look really good if you could just single out the rider the bike and some plain tarmac i think

Re: H.D.R photos

Ye man, they look really good, thanks.

Toby is write tho, the trees and that in the background have to much detail i think, thats what makes it look like its not a real drawing. But still cool tho.

Re: H.D.R photos

I thought the idea of HDR images were to look computer generated like a computer game, not a pencil drawing...

Those pics look awesome (apart from backgrounds as said) though! Burnout one is the best.

Re: H.D.R photos

HDR is cool, but its being used far too frequently now.

Stunt HDR may be the new hotness.

Btw if you have photoshop you can make HDR images, they have an option on there from CS2 onwards.

EDIT: Craig, you can tweak the setting to make it look like animated/pencil. This is a good example of the effect \i like.

Tutorial for true HDR (three of the same pic: one under exposed, one normal and one over exposed) not just one pic with hdr effect.

Re: H.D.R photos

HDR is awesome, but those aren't really HDR.. They are way overprocessed. If thats the look you're going for, then they're fine.. But HDR is a high dynamic range. It's a way of getting a photo that is properly exposed in all areas of the photo. Something that is normally impossible. The best way is to shoot at least 3 individual pictures of the same exact scene. One underexposed, one properly exposed, and one overexposed. Then combine them.

This is a good example (I did not take this picture)
