Wanted stunt bike for n00b

Hi all,

I've done the track day thing and now would like to try my hand at stunting i would love to use my 07 ZX6R but i think thats going to be a painful and expensive start and so i'm looking to buy a stunt bike to get me started i'd love the F4i thats for sale but i don't have the money for that as i want to spend around £1,500 and it's such a nice spec i feel i just wouldn't do it justice at this early stage.

So if anyone has anything for me let me know i'm pissed i missed that fiddy for sale at the bottom of this forum would have snapped that up!

Also if anyones after getting a track bike i would part ex my track bike plus cash if that interested you it's a CBR600 F3 race fairing, WP rear suspension, Ktec forks, micron race system, crash bobbins, pirreli suspercorsa tyres on the wheels on the bike, 2 sets of spare wheels both with disks one with wets one with slicks and a box of bits such as spare brakes, sprockets, standard forks etc.

So yeh anyone have a bike let me know.

Thanks

Cheers mate, must admit the thought did cross my mind only a few things were putting me off that idea the main one being it's not got a V5 so could never go back on the road so where ever i took it i'd have to van/trailer it there to practice.

Also how good a bike is the F3 to stunt i know alot on here stunt the F4i!

And lastly is the best place to get crash bars etc etc from the states? Can't seem to find much in the Uk for that type of thing at all.

I've got a CB500 I'm getting rid of.

Bought it as a road bike, but can't get used to the smaller engine size.

Ask Joe or Ralado off here, and they'll tell you its an awesome, cheap starter bike.

No tax/mot atm. Two brand new tyres.

Re: Wanted stunt bike for n00b

Could be interested mate does it have anything done to it or is it standard?

Can you get parts (spares and bars etc) easy enough for them?

Are any others using them for stunting if so would they like to comment on how easy/hard they are?

Re: Wanted stunt bike for n00b

CB500s are dirt cheap. I brought one for 500 quid...
They are good to start one too, Trix is just starting out on one, Ralado learnt on one.
You can get crash bars cheap off ebay, and handbrakes etc are the same as any other. Just scrape bar will be hard to find, unless you can get one made...

They wheelie pretty easy on standard gearing, but 47 teeth on rear is alot more fun!!!

Wooo i managed to squeeze pics of me in to a thread

I picked my CB500 up for £425, it's not pretty, but new fork seals and it passed the MOT...

Mine's standard, its Ralado's old stunt bike. It wheelies fine on stock gearing, just not really my cup of tea so want rid.

Pm if you want pics of any other info.

Re: Wanted stunt bike for n00b

Pez from stuntbikestore.com makes custom 12bars and I think cages. I am just starting out on the CB as Joe said and Its awesome. I use the bike as an everyday going out and stunting, I can't fault it.

Re: Wanted stunt bike for n00b

I would be able to make 12 bars for a cb500 if some one can bring one to me to make a jig.
