Today i was out on my road bike, with my sisters boyfriend on a r6. We went and met his boss who rides a drz400 sm, hes ******* fast, and done some stupid overtakes, he was pulling some sweet wheelies, and backing it in to roundabouts etc.
Then we met up with 4 other bikes (636s, r6, r1) and made our way for fuel. We were together for about ten minutes, got some fuel, then on the way back, the drz was out front, then sisters bf, with me next to him.
He was in the left hand lane, and approaching a roundabout, with a lorry in the right hand lane, then all i saw was his back end start snaking (was too early to be backing it in) not sure if he got target fixation on the lorry, or what. Saw him go down, and then something blocked my view. I think his head went under the lorry maybe.
I was first off the bikes, and he was just laying there, already lots of blood coming from his head, and looking pale.
Police, paramedics etc came, and he went to hospital, as guessed he died.
Feel so ******* sick, the ride home and that i was shivering, and really couldnt concentrate.
All the other bikes were power rangers, and his riding style is like mine etc (cept for stupid overtakes )
Had been waiting to ride with him for ages too, so we could have some fun.
Just goes to show how things can go so wrong so fast guys, so please be careful on the roads especially, and dont do anything when their is another vehicle close by. (although, not sure why he came off, too early to back it in,so im sure he was gonna undertake it and then got target fixation when lorry started turning)

really sorry to hear this mate, ive seen a few bad things on the road, but cant even imagine anything like this being seen by my own eyes,
hope it doesnt keep ya down for too long

Ive never had anyone die on me but when something similar happened to me i couldn't sleep a wink that night, kept seeing it when i closed my eyes. Its very strange.

What can anyone say Joe but deepest sympathies to the guys' family and friends. This sort of thing is a shot of reality to anyone who rides on todays crowded roads.

Dude that is bad,bad,bad experience....i'm so sory to hear that,...i know whatever we say it's not going to be enough(if you know what i mean)..all my sympathy to his family and friends...RIP

One minute i feel all normal, and then i keep thinking how helpless he was just spread across the road.
Went passed scene earlier, flowers are there already, and i felt sick going passed.

sorry to hear that mate i had a bikers funeral yesterday its not nice but dont be put of people say to me how can you still ride knowing my dad died on bike and friend but everyone has a time to go when its ur time to go anything can happen

I have lost two friends to bikes and three to fast cars.. and they were true friend from school and stuff, so thats why I have no road bike any more. We all started to get new bikes with top speeds of 150 then 160 then 170 and then they started to fall...sorry stuff
