Re: 636 fork mod

You have already said ya cant clutch and brake at the same time very well because ya finger is not strong enough. i know of two heads ya done because ya couldnt get ya finger on the clutch quick enough from hc circle. Ya would be bloody sharp to spot my rear disc is 20 mm bigger !!!
Plus your bike looks so so standard with its dirt bars , hand brake, big sprocket, dented tank, no farings , no head light , sick cage, no rear light and 12 bar eh.
And thats another thing ( thats wot my gf says when she is trying to show she is angry) Ya would never know my forks are R1 if they were slightly darker gold.
And another thing your tank looks ****,
And another thing your shorts look GAY !!!
And another thing fix ya own ******* engine mount !!!!
Im gonna take a pic of ya rubber mount on ya tank and post it on here then we will see who likes your quality work ha ha

Re: 636 fork mod

The way I see it, once you've gone sf and whacked db on your bike, there's no point in trying to make it look standard as it never will.

But, stunt bikes can look pimp all fightered out. (Darius for example)

I couldn't give a **** what anyone thinks of my bike. I built it to make riding easier, and to be comfortable.

Now you two kiss and make up.

Btw post pics of that rubber thing you're on about, I wanna see this super ctank mod (aka steal the idea).

It cant be as bad as your door mat tank you had?

Hanksy and Vandal at both your comments.

What ever set up works best, one persons set up wont suit someone else. You can shove your big discs and ya van-hey set up, i love my one inch brembo handbrake lever, middle finger only, its so solid i cant use it properly :YEAH thats a set up

Re: 636 fork mod

I think the point hanksy is trying to make is you don't need anything more than 1 stock rear caliper on a stock disc with a f/t adapter fitted to circle till you so dizzy you can't hold on no more, what you do need is to learn how not to fight the bike and relax something most of us can't do so we perhaps think of things to do to the bike to help us fight it, I am guilty of this line of thought i fitted a four pot caliper to the h/b and it made my limited skillz even worse i killed 2 disc's in 3 weeks cos i had more brake and fought it with more throttle thats not the fault of the set up thats the fault with me, I think stoppies are probably the same the only thing that will help you is you not set up perhaps till ur rollin big distance a good example of this is kevyn hops on any bike and rolls on it like its his own bike, but if mods give people peace of mind or whatever its all good
