any ideas???

the problem is i've been a bit of a numb **** recently and have set off three seperate speed cameras in a fortnight (i know that i'm a stupid ****) .

I've got all 3 tickets through the post. one is 36 in a 30, one at 37 in a 30 and one at 48 in a 30.

i already have 3 points so if i take all these i lose my liscence.

any ideas anyone???

Re: any ideas???

Not really got a leg to stand on there matey!!! 3 seperate offences, I *think* they are handled seperately so you can't even plead your case in court as far as I know!! normally if you go to court you can take reference letters from work etc saying you need licence blah blah... but if they handle the 3 offences seperately then you don't get to do that. Fixed penalties.

Try www.pepipoo.com for better advice on what to do!

Re: any ideas???

A mate of mine clocked up 5 speeding offences last year. He kept saying no not me everythime the caught up with him. He denied all of them for nearly a year.

They have eventually found him & sent him the pics. They told him to pay £60 and go on a driver awareness course.

Rather that than a ban !!!

i'm not saying ignore tham and they go away but it seemed to work for my mate.

Re: any ideas???

if you do the mechanic one, they will chase it up with him and ask him to prove who was driving.

Might get you off, but could potentially out your mate in the ****.

Re: any ideas???

good luck....... i got caught by a hand held unit going to work in the morning at 7:30am!!!! They didn't pull me over so when i got photo through i argued saying you should have pull the driver over cos it wern't me! so instead of getting points and a £60 fine i got points and a £250 for not identifying the driver!!!

Re: any ideas???

We don't have those stationary speed cameras anywhere I know of, except maybe at toll-booths, and I def don't speed around them, but how do you get caught if you know where they're at? Do they move them all the time?

We have things that they put up and move around town that show you how fast you're going, but they don't have cameras. They're there for awareness and flash if you're speeding. I always try to see how fast I can get up to but they error out at 99 mph.

But if it were me, I would deny any recognition on driving at those times until they were able to prove it was me.

And I would wear a mask and drive by it without a license plate over and over!
