I've got 5 points and a accident claim though so £350 don't think I'm going to get much better i tried every internet one going then got calls from them all dropping the prices but the £350 for both was pretty good going I think.

LAst night I wasn't planning on insuring the cbr at the prices I had, just glad I got the call today :YEAH

damn points and claim sure it'd be loads cheaper without them!

8 years NCB, no points, garaged = £180 + 50, cos i sold my first bike and bought a new one.

Next year should be about £190 (fingers crossed)

Mine is £350 a year for my R1 and stunt bike but there again i do get OAP disscount

if you can get a good deal on insurance then i spose its worth it, just depends on what extra they add on to put a second bike on the policy

i know last year i payed £300 for fully comp on both a GSXR 1000 and a modified blade which i though was good

650 TPO for the CBR

Bad times, renewals up soon tho so hopefully it'll be cheaper with 2 years no claims.

I ensure my stuntbike on the same plan as I do my street bike. Just to cover my *** if it ever gets stolen. plus then I can ride streets and not worry about getting a $800USD ticket for no insurance. and cops hassle you alot less then also.

Or you just didn't ring around at all??

I had a brand new 02 R6 and a 02 WR400 supermoto when I was 18 and insurance was *only* £1000 then went down to about £600 the year after **** paying the same stupid amounts year after year!

I hate insurance anyways, costs the earth, generally get nothing to show for the money, if your bike does get nicked they take ages trying to get out of it before paying you half of what it was worth in the first place, and god help you have an accident they just try to blame it on you!

My gix 1k6 insurance came up for renew they wanted £1060. I phoned up falcon when they asked if I had a quote I told em yes, but refused to tell em what. He came back with £640, I told him no, I had quote for £560. After being on hold for a couple of mins he came back with £499!! Thats £561 cheaper and I have better cover!
