waste of a day, and fuel

gotta say i was really pissed off today,

after winning a bid for a 99 reg zx6r for what i thought was a very good price, i travelled for a 300 mile round trip today up the M1 to find the biggest piece of crap, after talking to the guy who was selling it and being asured all was in working order, it was very surprising to find numerous mechanical
problems, including the fact that the throttle not only didnt work, but only twisted about 1/10th of how far it should, and this wasnt the only prob,

the chain wasnt even on the bike, how the hell he though he could advertise it as a working bike i have no idea,

needless to say he will not be happy when he sees the feedback that was left for him on ebay, if it was round the corner i wouldnt be so anoyed, but knowing i had to travel so far i cant believe he tried it on

so looks like it will be a bit longer before i get me a stunt bike

andy is not a happy man today

Re: waste of a day, and fuel

funnily enough i just got an email from a guy who was offered a second chance offer on the bike, he saw my feedback and asked what was wrong with it,
i would like to think i was openly honest with it, also stating that i was gonna use it to slearn to stunt on etc and how i felt it wasnt worth the hastle for the price he wanted,
he said he had exactly the same idea and was gonna stay away from it, but i did give him the info of this site so mayeb get another member soon
