EZ Pull fitted
Fitted the EZ Pull Lever i got off Pez tonight, it only took me 2.5 hours.
I know what your thinking 'ant your wasted as an artist' but don't worry im not going to become a mechanic
It took me so long because i had to take the cage and fairings off to get to the cluch cable end due to not having enough slack, but its working sweet now. On its easiest setting the lever has so much control over the bite, can't wait to test it.
In its time my GSXR's been dropped a few times and its got some broken fairing mounts, one in the tail thats bad after last weeks spill.
Question - do you have any advice on repairing fairing mounts to get it feeling tight again?

Re: EZ Pull fitted
Anyone dun the clutch arm mod? I'm xtending mine by about 15mm.
There's a thread about f4i arms on the newposts pages. Seems the sixthreeshizzle mod is easy cos the actuating arm can be pulled out the case.
I figured if I'm riding a girl's bike I may as well make the clutch good n softy.
Got ez-pull, + longer cable (smoother route thru headstock) and the xtendr mod. The clutch will probably slip if a moth flaps its wing in Japan.

Re: EZ Pull fitted
should see the front of my bike now, nothing but cable ties holding it together, on the weekend i managed to snap the top bit off but with an hour of my time and some precision cable tie-ing, had it sturdy again for another days riding

Re: EZ Pull fitted
Not heard of that mod carbo...
Whats the point of an extra 15mm, 3 fingers instead of 2?
Im well happy that ive got more control over the biting point 'being a newbie' and i could only manage 10mins stuntin with a standard clutch before my grip gave way.

Re: EZ Pull fitted
nah ant, its for th other end of the clutch cable, the arm the cable attaches to, if you extend makes it easier to pull, but can't extend it too much, don't know much bout this mod cause haven't had to do it, but almost every1 with an f sport should no about it

Re: EZ Pull fitted
OK, thats totally different to the gsxr, its cable goes straight into the case. Youd probably need to take the clutch to bits to replace my cable.
I can see why frequent stunters sf their bikes, but i love the look of ff.
As my bike was bought a bit scratched, im gonna keep the fairings going as long as poss.

Re: EZ Pull fitted
im with you on that one, i prefer FF, also as i've learned everything FF, if i went SF now i'd lose all my reference points on the bike. i think you need to take the clutch casing off, but thats bout it, not sure someone will give you more info im sure

Re: EZ Pull fitted
similar to my bike, the clutch cable runs straight in from the top of the casing, i learn't the hard way, don't fiddle with it unless it needs fixing. so i've left my clutch how it is which unfortunatly means its realli stiff
