Uk Stunt Shop

Its all in place but would you use it??

I have done my homework and set up deals if its worth it so would you us a UK based stunt shop (ebay to start)

Cages would be around £180 easy pull (moose type ) would be around £22
Sprokets chains brake lines and brake valves would be in stock and so on

But would you use it or just slate my every move and buy a cage from the states thats £6 cheaper because I must be ripping you off (if you know what I mean)

I can do it but will not waste my time or money if you show no support.

Feddback please.

Pez

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

I wouldn't care if you were £50 more expensive. If I get my stuff within a week and don't risk getting stung by customs then i'd use you.

EDIT: What's with the e-battle? This isn't the US section.

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

If you get the right goods and plug it right you will sell it easy.
I'm just starting to get in to stunting and looking for parts
Tried ebay and forums not much about so the easy thing to do now is over seas
But if you or ebay had the stuff it would be you
Who wants to wait 4 weeks for over seas orders and maybe stopped at custom so they can add some tax on.... to mug us off!!
Think you will do ok if you ship it right.

Good luck

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

No fear Sparks

This is how it will go.

The Uk is a small market for stunt stuff and if I spend my money at three or four different places I will get no were fast and get no support from any brand so I have to focus on a few brands but do them well.

I will not do doing F I ,but I will be doing Sick and they will be doing 0 clip ons very soon Sparks (I will PM you soon as I have the info).

I keep asking questions as its my money i will be playing with so I would prefer not to loss it so I ask lots before I spend ( nevers and all that).

I think its a goer and I have years of experience in inporting so it should work out as long as people try to use it.

If things go to plan I would have no problem putting on a Jam type event as well but stuff will have to be sold for it to be viable.
thanks for the replies so far please give me your ideas.

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

Pez, i know it's easy to ask for and hard to compile, but how about a rough price list, that way we can compare to america's prices and see who's really willing to buy from you.

I'd like to think i'd be ordering a lot from you if i knew it'd arrive in the next week, rather than waiting weeks and worrying about customs

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

I think this is a good idea but is there no way we can just get some plan's then find fabricator's in the uk to see if they can make crash cage's and 12 bar's i mean what would they cost just to get made up ?
maybe this is a idea for this gentleman with the idea of importing some stuff mybe find a u.k based company that will do you a good price and mybe just buy plan's of the american's or am i looking way to far out the box lol
But yeah if it was 6 quid dearer i'd spend the extra but i can get a cage and 12 bar for 202 quid for my 96 zxr600 that's not inclucing shipment could you beat that or compare ??????

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

I'd definately buy a SI cage from you if you started up.

To be honest, the stunt market alone might not keep you going, but people spend £££ on crash protection to save their pride and joy.

I've seen the pics on the SI site that show a CBR600F cornering at high speed at a crazy lean angle and not grounding the cage.

There are a LOT of people in the UK who would pay for parts like that without necessarily being interested in stunts. Especially if the cages are proven, and also proven not to affect ground clearance too much!

12 bars and suchlike might be more of a slow seller, but if you're getting stuff shipped over anyways, it isn't going to be so much of an issue.

You've also got the SI 3 point cages and street cages which would sell like hotcakes if the right promotion was applied to it!

Re: Uk Stunt Shop

Thanks for the replies and pMs .

I will not have majour price lists until the 1st of march to be honest
But I will try to sort a few details out for those with who want to know.

What would be a help is to tell me what bikes you will be doing next so I can stock whats needed (no obligation to buy) I just need a gauge.

Thanks
