Cut the rear end of the can (where the link pipe is) cut it all the way around (dont cut straight through the whole thing, but around the edge so you just cut the outter sleeving... then cut out about 5 inches from the can. try to cut as straight as possible... then you need to grind off the can hanging mount... then take it to an aluminium welder and get the two peices welded back together, then mark out where the hanger needs to be and get that welded on... sorted

or sent it to dannymac at just motorcycles, i tihnk he offers a can shortening service.. not sure on price, think its aorund £40 ish but you'll have to speak to him.

 

I kinda squeeze my *** cheeks together, then I just let it out as slow as possible. Somtimes it works.
