Thanks

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say a BIG thank you everyone that came to comp,

I’ve had great feed back from the public, People that primarily came to watch the planes ended staying watching you guys because they were amazed at what you were doing.

Everyone’s approach to the comp was very professional and I’ve got to say it is a credit to you all that we had no incidents all weekend. (apart from Mike)

I can post up everyone’s points and placing if you wish?

We are already planning the next event, which I am looking at having the open practice on a much larger area and for 3 days before the comp,

Any feedback you may have would be greatly appreciated as we will try to make the next one even better! Email or pms would be great

Hope to see you all soon

Jon

Re: Thanks

That sounds amazing. four days of stunting!!!

Thanks again for setting it all up Jon. Can't wait for the next one.

Can you post up my qualifying score if you have it? i wanna see what i need to work on (besides stoppies).

On a couple of other forums I'm on the general response was those who saw it were amazed, and those who didn't wish they had, so congrats to everyone on that one.

Re: Thanks

was a great weekend, if you ever need a hand with planning or promotion, give us a shout!

One thing tho, would be a good a idea to have a huge countdown timer or something so riders know how much time they have left in the freestyle run, as I know it was hard for them to hear the mic man, announcing the last 30secs.

Another thing too, we need water for ladies in bikinis to wash bikes! lol

Re: Thanks

What a top bloke:YEAH Thanks for putting the time in and getting everythin done for us all.

Cant wait for the next one. I dont think you should make the practice area bigger, leave it as the normal area for the comp.
2 reasons, 1 is that you kinow what tricks you can do in that space and 2 its more interment for us all

And post our scores and points

Re: Thanks

+1 on all the thanks, best weekend I ever had even though I had a nightmare the week running up to it. glad I got my bike sorted cos I'd be so gutted if I missed it!!!

As for improvements on next year.. I think a bigger practice area would be a good thing so more people can get out for longer and without having to worry about what everyone else is doing all the time.. and some cold water available for free or very cheap (I'd happily go to makro and get loads of it for ya and sell at cost price which would be able 10p a bottle or something silly like that)

Other than that it was ****** spot on, no complaints at all here. good job.

I wouldnt mind seeing my score in qualifying too, I see wehre i went wrong in my vid and just wondered how badly I actually scored, im guessing near the back end of the group lol ah well.

Re: Thanks

you were actually next in line to qualify after Glyn Craig so you didn't do too badly.

Re: Thanks

Big thanks to you jon, was a ******* mental weekend.
Everyone was walking around like lost sheep after we stopped on saturday night lol.
Was cool though to just hang out and chat to people though

Personally i think a bigger area would be nice, because more people can practise at a time, and there wouldn't be any more sparky/britishnick incidents lol.

Spot on weekend mate.

Cheap water is needed

Thanks for letting us come along.

Re: Thanks

I think the are was big enough, but you have to consider that the comp area is the only decent surface, so no point practicing anywhere else.

Maybe allocate fifteen minutes a time each in there, as some people took a lot longer than others when we were queing for practice.

if the next one is over four days I'm sure we'll have more than enough time to practice.

Who says its gonna be at the same venue ?

As for the water! come on guys Red Bull did an awesome job supplying everyone with energy drinks, But i think you are all big enough to bring your own water !!!! 17pence for 2 litres from any good supermarket
