Guys that **** is expensive to host i know they put a lot of time into getting it sorted, but yeah two a year would be amazing

 

Its something I have always wanted to do, but dont have the money and Jon Jon beat me to it!

I was saying to some of the guys tho, what we can do is all chip in and hire a venue and put on a show, or if you want a comp, any ticket revenue can go towards the costs or prize money.

Whos up for it?

 

I have an area big enough for camping, just lacking on the tarmac front.

 

is it about the competition or just about all getting together for a few days cos maybe we could just find a venue/spot that we could all go in on and have a few days riding dunno how much a place would cost but maybe an idea

 

Yeah if it's just for fun it's just the price of camping and hiring for a weekend split between us all.

Definitely worth the trip if we can centralise it a bit

Its a bit far from London but I'm friendly with the Anglesey Circuit manager. He's interested in putting on a stunt show.

Any thoughts ? would be good to get all UK guys up there.

 

I would be well up for a show. Less pressure than a comp so I think I'd ride like normal rather than forget lots of things like I did at SBF the comp was awesome fun though so even if another comp is organised I'd be up for that too, or just a big meet up at a hired venue. I can't wait till the next SBF, Jon done an amazing job of the first one and the 2nd can only get better. Cant wait!

I'd be up for a show, but I think we should try and keep SBF as the only main competition as it'll give it a higher profile.

 

Dont think a comp is the answer, cos then it would just water down the meaning of SBF, theres always the amateur comp coming up in Elvington, but its not really the same.

I think more big meet ups/shows is the way, Anglesey is an idea, bit far though, especially for those like me who have to ride everywhere!

But yeah, if we hire a venue and put on a show for a weekend, even if its a free show to guarantee an audience, that would be good.

No need for a freestyle contest, but perhaps we can recreate the last man standing and longest stoppie. Prizes wont be major, but it would be fun.

I really wanted to check out that comp in Amsterdam, would love to see Chris Pfeffier in action and of course 444! Wont be able to make it im afraid.

Think it is a good idear to have two a year but I think Jon Jon has the connections and he really knows what he is doing with all that stuff we should leave it to him.

Not to put a downer on things but you will find it very hard to get people letting us loose like that. I will support Jon whatever he does was the outright best event/weekend I have ever had. We need to just supprt Jon and give him as much help as possible to ask for two a year not try and do something else.

Maybe the first one could be like a big practice weekend and more for a laugh and the crowds, then the second one like this year that's for money and prizes

 

The manager at the Anglesey circuit is interested in holding an event / comp / meet up / show whatever everyone has in mind. Speaking to him he'd like it to coincide with an ACU racing event that they hold there. That way they are gaining revenue from gate tickets either way to cover there costs etc. The track can be split up in two or three tracks. The ACU racing lads would have one the stunters the other. I appreciate its very far from London (SORRY GOOSE) but everyone could turn it into a bit of a met / camp over etc. They have power for caravans toilets/showers somewhere to get food and a BAR !!!!!!.

I have been looking into holding a smaller event in the earlier part of next year, If you guys are up for it? it will be smaller though cos i nearly ended up single and homeless after organsing this one,

Im also in the process of organising a get together for all the people that competed, a weekend at a venue where we can all just ride and hang out,
