He mentioned elsewhere that the road is closed and sealed off with permission from the council.. so sounds about as legal as can be!

Yup the actual event is in an industrial park, but the main road that leads to it is sealed off by the organisers with permission from the council.

If anyone wants to tag along with us and get free entry for stunting we are leaving Ace Cafe at 2:00pm.

You have to arrive with us for free entry, and I have to supply your name before the event.

If you wish to enter for the discounted rate of £5 you also have to arrive with us.

Funny you should say that, its not being very successful in London, there are talks about moving it up North.

Its a great day out and a good laugh, but most people simply come down to watch the stunting that takes place on the main road for free and not pay to go into the actual event.

The problem really is its location, as they cant charge people to watch the stunting on the main road outside the event.

So next year it may be held at a track or drag strip for example.

This is the 3rd year of the event and so far it has not made a profit, so lets try to make this one the biggest yet.

 

What about people like me who bring bike in a van?? I can't keep up with bikes on a funeral let alone on a rideout so I really need to go straight to the spot?

UPDATE:

Just found out that the main road will not be closed, someone has made a complaint to the council about last years stunting.

A designated area will be reserved within the venue for stunting so it will still be legal, and covered under the events insurance, but please do not intentionally maim or kill anyone.

I will confirm with the organiser tomorrow if he wants a certain number, and whether it will be a free for all or allotted times for stunting.

Also in regards to filming thats being done by Carpe Diem, we will list all the stunters names, so at least everyone gets credits, if i edit it right, i can freeze it on a stunter and add their name, so people can put a name to a face/helmet lol

just want to promote the scene more, how many times do you see stunting at Ace Cafe and no-one knows who it is stunting?
