New to stunt life
Hey all, what's up?
New to stunt life, been riding an SV650S for the past four years, never had the ***** to try anything, got a Gixxer 6 at Chrimbo, and would love to learn a few stunts.
Anyone up near Blackpool/Preston who can show me the ropes (as it were)
Any help/advice and tips gratefully received

I'm in exactly the same situation as you Carlos, although I think we went through this on GixerJunkies.
Get yourself a cage for starters, and an oil pickup. You don't want your bike blowing up on you.

Oil pick up, cage and bigger gearing.
stick to 1st gear stuff and practice alot. you'll have it in no time.
Bit to far for me, but i'm sure there's someone up there to stunt with.

What site?
Seriously, don't use stunt aid. I had one and it bent within four drops.
Get any of the others and you'll be good. I hear good things about pwoers cages on Gixers, but me and Lee (Ludo) have FI cages and they hold up good.
I got mine from the UK, there was somebody selling a used one. But if you want to know more, talk to some of the guys at HAI, they helped me out loads.

A uk Northerner? on Stuntlife? - +1 on the cage, Fi good. You can still get em off the bike without sawing when they're wrecked outt of shape.
Hook up if you're headed to any bike meets in Cheshire/N Wales.

I've had a 905 cage and left that for a FI cage. there the best by far. But if you still wont to ride fast and try and get your knee down then forget it cuz it hit's the floor long before your knee
Oil pick up's are very easy to fit, order everything at the same time and ask them to send them as a gift (save you some shipping import tax) and expect to wait a few weeks for them. Give them a call. I spoke to bill at stuntme.com, very helpful bloke.
If you need anything, or wona know anything. dont be shy, just get on here and ask. We'll all help you out

Re: New to stunt life
Danny (Jon's mate) made my oil pickup with an exhaust manifold and a bit of pipe. I'm sure a garage near you could whip one up.
Basically you want it to that it picks up oil from the REAR of the sump instead of the front, as is the case with most stock ones.
