gsxr/bandit
Hi
I have seen a few bandits in use and my question is are the older gsxr 1100 still use able ? because I have an old gxr sling shot 1100 and would like to use (for starting out as I have it and it owes me £0) it but are they usable for the slower stuff (not just burn outs). I know Rothwell use one but things have moved on a bit. What do you think???
Thanks in advance
Pez

Re: gsxr/bandit
that will be ok to learn on. but you'll need a fuel injected bike when you start on the slower stuff. the engine will run better.
a 600cc with bigger gearing on with be just the job. or if you dont wona pay out for a FI bike, then a old cbr 600 the F model works well.
good luck

Loughborough J23 of the M1
Have to find a pick
Working on my x sport tonight so will take a pick, I have put a rear bar on ( not 12 o clock though it would have to be about 1M long and look silly) I,m also changing the gearing back to std as I up geared it for off road as I was for ever topping out. I also bought a swing arm of the bay as I welded my own up to change the ratio on the shock and it looked crap the new one should help as Im a few ounces short of 18 stone.

I used to go to a track near coventry and donnington also did a lot of enduros.
Not praticing at the moment as I had knee work done this year and need to get fit(ish) again.
