Spoke to the MTV/extreme channel guys last year, they're interested in the Aaron Colton type of riders, but not us old, rich (can afford insurance)gits - we'll get coverage if we can make owning a bike and stunting look accessible to younger (target TV audience) people. Prob get more TV interested in the Fiddy/minibike stunting and then show a bit of streetbike footage.

We're too 'out there' for tv land to identify with what we do at the moment - the Stunt 'look' is interesting to (TV) fashion and stylists people but actually risking pain and bike destruction is a long way off mainstream-Joe's radar.
Face it, we live in a country full of lightweight kooks. We all need to be doing the Geurilla PR work at every opportunity. I tell every media rep and biker I meet, about stuntlife.com. - getting coverage is a slog, but the other sports I've been in from the 80's (sk8 and sno-boarding) got into the mainstream eventually and they were even smaller than the stunt scene at one time.

Its a fine line between representin at all the bike meets and getting known/busted while we're doing it.

 

Sound's like a bloody good idea get all the team's/individuals at there legal practise spot's.

o town has more stunt riders in a ten mile radius then any where and those guys just straight murder it ..
