broken thumb the forensics
on the tenth my elecs cut out, the back wheel locked and i went over the bars leaving my right hand still between the brake lever etc....
i snapped the bone in the end of my thumb and tore the nail clean off plus part of the nail bed........ i really hurts.....still!
the first two pics are of my thumb nail which i recently found still in my glove
the third pic is of thumb before stitching
fourth pic is of my thumb sewed up with a new metal nail which is also stitched in place.
ps it took a total of 10 x injections in my thumb to numb it.

Yuk, Another great picture for the Stuntlife Hall of Meat!
and now you get to wear a fat, comedy bandage to talk about down the pub.
I did the same to all four fingers - couldnt work out why my clutch lever felt bendy, when trying to leave the scene!

Ouch!
Kinda glad those pictures aren't sharp.
Got to watch those electrical problems - if there's the slightest hint that there might be a problem, stop riding.
I did exactly the same thing two years ago, which resulted in a shattered and shortened humourous (the bone at the top of your arm), that took about 10 weeks to heal and another 4 weeks before I could even think about riding again.

Those pics are nasty
Cool new nail though, can you get it anodised?
I can roll out the short arm deep pockets joke again
