Re: honda 450 quad

I've ridden both the honda & the Yamaha 450's, in both stock & all modded out...If your looking to stunt then I'd go with the honda..the powers much smoother...and if your going to play ride it's better....But if your going to race moto then the YFZ's gears are a much better match. the honda's gear ratio's are much wider of a spread & the powers not quite so peaky....but the yamaha is setup really stiff for moto & it's all acceleration...But I still like my 250R the best, I had a Raptor & then a YFZ450, but I traded for a modded out 2 stroke Terry Racing 250R with the ESR350 and a 270 Kit(Both cylinders).

I just love the thrill of the 2 stroke, but the 4 strokes were definitly easyer to ride...Didn't get tired as quickly, and the Arm pump is way less on them.

hope that helps.

Re: honda 450 quad

I dunno..lol, I still have the 270 cylinder on it, but my buddy has close to the same setup with the 350kit & it's stupid fast..the 270 all done out is pretty stupid too.....But this winter I'm going to have my cases all milled out to accept the 350 Pro-X cylinder....
