It's that time! End of the summer is approaching fast. We'll be collecting footage all month from everyone and anyone. It'll be up to you if you're gonna be in our video or not. Step up and throw down for the camera and send me the tape!!

This will be the first of many DVD's to be released by Campbell Productions featuring the CVBz. It'll also be the pioneer of quad stunt videos as there will be nothing like it on the market. We're taking this DVD very seriously as well as our sponsors. Campbell Productions has a full financial backer to bring you the best video possible. Our music sponsor has tons of music that'll get your head bangin! Our vynil sponsor has our quads, trucks, and bikes looking tight so that you'll know you're lookin at the CVBz pulling crazy **** when watching this one!

If you'd like to submitt a tape, please write to me at andrewcvb@yahoo.com I'll be collecting tapes from numerous groups around the country. I'll be starting the editing process next month so you only have till the end of Sept to get your tapes in. What I'll need from you:

Mini DV tapes ONLY!!!!
Your groups name and individual rider names.
A release form allowing Campbell Productions to use your footage.

It's that simple. I look forward to hearing from you guys and seeing what ends up in my editor. With the help of you fellow stunters we can release the first ever all quad stunt video.... let's make it a great one!

You really don't have a Digital8 player Drew? I guess I could put the raw dv25 files on a dvd or something. We will figure something out.

Bill.....we'll get ya hooked up.....we can copy your clips to my camera (if I head down that way, or even if I have to send it down for you to use). That is, of course, if Andrew does not accept Dig. 8.

Yep... I really DON'T have a dig8 deck. I've got a BetaSP, Digi, and SVHS deck hooked up to the Mac G5. Any other format would have to go through firewire and the Mac isn't set up for that. It's connected to an aja box to allow numerous decks to communicate with the G5. Makes the editing process much faster. But like Phear said... you could link cams and transfer video that way. Good luck and let us know. We'd really like to have the HK film crew in our DVD!

accepting crash tapes by any chance All mine is burned onto my computer than erased from the mini...that a problem?

 

It's not a matter of "liking" them to be in the video.....they HAVE TO be in there. So with that said, I'll make sure we get it on MiniDV.

 

yup... accepting anything on mini dv... even crashes! if you can burn quicktime movie files onto a CDR or DVD, I may be able to use that. Please make sure the resolution is 720x486 though.

FMX footage?

 

I believe we are accepting just about any type of footage.....so whatever you guys have, send it on over. Sick FMX footage would be perrrrrrrrrrfect.

We can't promise how much (if any) footage that is sent will be used, that will be up to Andrew to decide during editing, but you can bet that if it's cool, and we have room, it'll be used.

Just want to say thanks to Everybody in advance....This is going to be a DVD to represent us all, not just the CVBz. Thanks for being a part of it.

Sorry to get but I was thinking the CVBoyz should host a quad only comp up that way. Y'all may have been thinking about this already, but if you had backing from, say, off-road.com it could surely go down.

 

You said you'll be collecting film all month, so does that mean the deadline is the last day of september? Or is it a little looser and a couple days into october would work to? Not a big deal j/w. And is there just gonna be like a random stunters segment, that this will all go in or is it gonna be tossed in with the footage from some of the teams? The seperate segment would be pretty damn sweet

 

Good questions. I'd like the deadline to be by the end of September. However, I'll understand if I get some late tapes in. As for the footage... well... I'm looking for everything from groups to individual performances. Still waiting on footage from Dustin(a.k.a. "Nausty"), and I had plans of giving him his own "segment" in the movie as he does both FMX and ground freestyle. And seeing as how he doesn't really associate himself with a group... then it'd be just him. However, a group like the JT crew or HK films crew will have their own segments as a group so it'll be easier for the audience to associate a name with the riders.
