Exclamation

Dude, I don't know how stuntable they are, but they are really rare, and really sweet quads. I would kill to find a deal like that.

If all the pieces are there and nothing seriously is wrong with it, you'd be crazy not to swipe it up. A complete Tecate in good shape will easily fetch $3000 to the right person.

Man, the parts alone on that thing are worth WAY more than $500....lots of guys restoring old quads and trikes.

Nice find bro.

Lanphear's got it right man. Buy it, FAST. Because even if you don't want it you can definately make money on it.

It probably is actually pretty stuntable. The geometry of that frame is short, which would make it a good stunt bike, however it's a 2 stroke, so it would be more difficult to stunt, especially at lower speeds. I'd bet that it's easier to stunt than a Banshee though.

tecate is a 250r basically. 2 stroke 36hp from the factory. Parts are really rare and expensive since they didnt sell as good as 250r's did. There was a 3 wheeler version and a four wheeler. Im pretty sure the mojave was the baby of the tecate since alot of the parts are interchangable other then the little 250 4 stroke power plant. That green quad down brockton pits with the kx500 motor was a tecate you seen it. 1000 cee cee the raptor is in the want ad's. I want a yz250 and a stunt bike I will never buy a quad again.

tecates are NICE fourwheelers, my friend has one and I rode it a couple of times, the front end is real light, you can walk it in about every gear, and thats pretty immpressive for a 250! it has plenty of power. ****** it up dude, especially for 500 bucks!

peace
