e-brake block off plate

i just got a quad and see that everybody makes an e-brake block off plate. what would be the advantages of taking off my e-brake?

Don't make one. Buy it from White Brothers or Nac's. That e-brake is useless junk anyways. But save the cable for handbrake projects.
