RE:Can you you make an atv street legal, If so how
I know in NJ you can't register them for the street. Your best bet would to check with your local DMV . And if they are u have to have blinkers ,horn and all the other good **** on them.

cant do it in ny without a whole bunch of stupid mods (some guy in long island, there is a link to his website that has picks of the quad now turned reverse trike 2 wheels in front one in back soemwhere here on stuntlife i forget what thread) like putting a ninja swingarm with one wheel out back, personally i dont even know how that is street legal but the guy says after these mods it still took two years of paper work to et registered. My friends wife is the head of thedmv office here in poughkeepsie ny and ive tried her a million times to find a way to get mine legal and there is no possible way according to her...............there is though a company in pa or nj that is in the process of making street legal quads out of gsxr 1000's, i lost his card, but they are gonna be sweet..........only catch he says they are only sure about the street legality in their home state oh and the fact that u gotta bring them a new style gsxr 600,750,1000 and then plunk down another 10-15 thousand (depending on what options u pick) on top of what it cost u for the bike to have the work done........if i hit the lottery ill have one for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called the DMV a while back, and they said that in VT you can't register an ATV legal for the streets, but you can make an ATC (three wheeler) legal. WTF...this state is so queer....literally.

Josh, here's what you do.... You pull out a welder and start hackin at that EX of yours. I'm sure with a beater dirtbike and some fabrication, you could mate the two together into a mean lookin three wheeler!!
