i was out rippn today and i was about to go into a dead christ, and i played witht the throttle a tad and the thing snaked real hard, threw me off and rolled over. i heard this is common, why does it do this and how can we stop it.

aahhhh the dreaded death shakes, all of us have had this happen from time to time. i think it has something to do with how the grab bar is sliding on the ground. like when it scrapes down uneven on one side and not the other it might have a tendency to scrape to one side versus the other. but this is only my opinion and im not posotive. but i know its happened to me alot and it sucks.

i run alot less tire pressure now - since i flipped HARD w/ some death shakes. Zan's right, if the bar sits un-even or if you shift ur weight. its on.

A good scrape bar prevents this - like a nice flat stock bar sits even on the ground.

Dead christ's are off tha hook. keep em going!

My 12 bar is made out of angle iron, i custom made it myself. it hits the ground mad even because its wearing out perfectly even. It could have been my weight was not centered. Does lowering the tire pressure really help??

yes, it definately helps. instead of the wheels bouncing around cuz their rock solid,or hard theres more play from side to side because the tires move on the rim and rim moving with the tire.
hope this helps.
keep up the stunts.

^^ hahah, i learned that the hard way. If i gradually easy in the throttle, and i mean ver gradually it wont snake, but DON"T CHOP THE THROTTLE!

ive got angle iron on by bar now, **** digs into the ground but sits perfectly flat. Ive only flipped over once from it.

gonna go to a plate, instead of the angle iron to scrape easier.

you try the low tire pressure yet?
