What comes to mind first is a Blaster...You might be able to find a beat up 250x for that much, they are basically the same thing as the current 300ex. Otherwise some others are like a old Suziki quadsport 4-stroke, or a Honda 200sx quad, but neither of those are true "sports" compared to what is out there now. May be able to find a Warrior for around that price?

You could also look for a trike?

One of my buddies just sold a 250EX with a bunch of spair parts for 400 bucks. There are deals out there, you just gotta find them. Ebay is your best bet.

a couple of my friends have blasters. they are the ****! cheap, reliable and the bp is lower than ****! i could probable rock more stuff on a blaster than i could on my ex just because the balance point is so low. look for early 90's blaster. you can get them cheap! good luck

Blasters rear breaks do suck but you can get a hydrolic brake kit for them from blasterzone.com. I have one for my blaster and they kick ***. Trenga racing also makes the same kit but is more expensive.
