this has been coverd before..........if you want the EX thats fin save yourself a little money...but you get a KFX400 or teh Z400.......for a little bit more money...you get a great stunt quad that is just as good as the 400ex maybe better IMO...and you get "reverse" and "liquid cooled".....and you may think reverse isnt all that but i said the samething and im glad i went with the Z and got it.....

in the end it is all up to you...

the EX is not the best......it is no better then a Z400 or a KFX400......

the Z and the KFX have the same balance point as the EX...they both can run in a 12 position...and have reverse and liquid cooled....so the Z and the KFX is obviously better....its all about if you want to spend the little bit extra money.

i have rode both and own a Z....so i know what im talking about....they are both good quads

z400

I just bought one and i think its the best because i rode 400ex and its not as fast as the z400 and runs alot hoter too!!! reverse is a plus and speed is too.....go with the z400...

I put alot of hours on my EX and never had a problem. Haven't gotten on a Z or a KFX yet, but if the ballance point is the same (IF IF IF IF) I would buy a white Z for the liquid cooling. The liquid cooled motor would be better for stunting. But reverse is gay. Picking up the back of your quad builds character and usually you can just do a donut to turn around. Just my 2cents.

well ppl are gonna laugh at me but the 250 ex is insanely easy to wheelie. it is really well balanced and has no clutch u can use rear brake while having both feet over the bars

I've tried stunting both the banshee and EX. In my opinion it's easier to wheelie the EX cause of the four-stroke motor. The banshee didn't have the smooth control that the EX did. Not saying the yamaha is garbage, just not my bike of choice.

If you are speaking of my Banshee (R.I.P.), it was even worse cause it had top end pipes on it....was easier stock, but still was twitchy. EX is deff. easier by far.
