Braking Problems..

On my quad my brakes are ******* weak. I've got drums on the back and disks on the front (i think). I need some help on how to tighten them or do i need new pads? And if I can just tighten em how so and if I need new pads how do I install them. Yeah your probably rolling your eyes and want to kick me in the head by now but I hate break work and never really learned how to do them.

Thanks

Best bet is to get a Clymers manual for your quad and see what kind of work is involved. I know nothing about your quad so I got nothin

so what exactly will you do with a ninja 250 until you can even get your permit?

Re: Braking Problems..

The cable going to the rear drum, should have an adjuster at the end, that you can turn by hand ????

Re: Braking Problems..

tighten up your brakes, if that wont work you either need to clean the pads good or may need new pads...mudholes and creek crossings tear up cheap drum brakes....
