im thinking about getting a 400 i dont know which one to get im stepping up from a blaster.

both are good machines,I have the honda & my boy has the suzuki..I have ridin them both but I like the honda better...smoother throtlle it seems like to me, & easy to balance..but not as fast as the z400,kfx. Plus no reverse.. hope this helps ya.

the only thing about ex is no reverse i hate being stuck in the woods picking the quad up and down when you have to turn around while my frends just turn a switch. i dont think i can afford the 07' it is a nice machine though i dont know logical it would be to buy a new bike and just run the thing in to the ground because thats what i plan to do. they say buy honda and you can beat on it all day.

I use to work at a honda/kawi dealer and the kfx is just a bulletproof as the honda +it has more power,+ it has reverse. The honda is nice but it doesnt really have a whole lot of character to it if you know what I mean. Its kinda boring compared to the kfx/ltz

my good friend has a 04 400ex, i have a 03 suzukiz z400 which i bought used and his got his brand new and hes on his 3rd clutch and im still on a stock one, hes replaced other bs parts that broke that i have never got any problems with, and my quad is more sensative on the throttle and faster

but other then that these r the 2 best quads out there, besides the new expensive ones

i think i might be sold on the z ,also i like the idea the grab bar is not part of the frame so when i break it i can just oder a new one.

of course your is more sensative compared to a 400ex.......almost every quad that has any power is, but as far as reliablity your buddy just got a in a million thats got a couple problem cause most the time they are bomb proof. I submitted warrenty claims for both for several years and I assure you that both are = as far as relaible goes.

03 was one piece so get a newer model

i know the z's and stuff were having problems with the frames cracking so just beware of that. My friend has a 04 and the frame cracked completely
