I think the 700's balance insanly well there just tanks thats all, don't flip a stoppie over on yourself. The first time I had ever ridden one (a few weeks ago) I had it in 5th gear screaming with the front tires to the sky, i thought it was comfortable it's like riding a missle. Slow stuff was okay too, no fuel problems and tons of smooth yet torquey power

Re: raptor 700 or yfz450
I've been doin a lot of research on this subject lately on all sport quads. I've come to the conclusion from reading reviews and checking prices that I'm going to get an '06 predator. From what I've read, their more durable than the raptor w/ almost the same power characteristics. They're suppose to be very comfortable w/ more suspension travel and better stock access. like Douglas wheels and Fox shocks. Can pick it up for about a thousand bucks cheaper than a Raptor too............Sorry, if you don't care........just sharin my opinion.

If it's injected there is a sensor that needs to be brazed up, how it works is everytime the chime inside swings into the housing from being at 12 it grounds out the fuel managment.
If it's a carb you can either adjust the floats so it doesnt choke out or tilt the carb back a ways. Or try finding a vacuume carb for it. The don't pee at all and always stay running
Hope this helps

Ya I guess it has to be the carbs or is there a cdi box or somthing also that could be messsed up?

Re: raptor 700 or yfz450
i had a yfz450 amazing machine and stunted ok, i believe it would be a better stunter than the raptor 700, the fuel injection is amazing on the 700 but if your lookin to do lot of stuntin go with a 400ex, z400, kfx400, etc the raptor 700 is probly the best all around trail machine out there by far. the yfz has amazing balance but is very touchy and needs to be geared down to do the slow stuff, mine did fine once i got used to it
