400ex help.......

I got a 2002 400ex. That keeps blowing the main fuse by the battery. Before, it was an isolated thing. Might to it once every few weeks, then every week, now it blows the fuse the second i Put it in and turn the key on & can't ride the damn thing.

Obviously i have a short in the system - anyone have this happen or might know of somewhere to start? all the f'n wires are all wrapped up in that factory crap.

I havn't ridden my quad in over a month & I need to get a quick fix.

will it work if you put the key in the on position and push start it? i know it sounds like a hassle everytime but then you can atleast ride it..

well i have a warrior, but ihave had the same problems. What i did was followed the wire the fuse is on and make sure it wasnt cracked or loose at any of the connections. What actually happoened was it was loose, if its not that wire just check them all.

do what rob said, that should be the numero uno cause. If that doesn't work make sure that the battery cables are secure, not loose, broke, ect. ect.
