Re: New England Invitational Quad Event
Just so I understand this..... You pay $65 to register... then $25 to compete in a single event and then the only way you'll get money is if you win... and it's only $100, so you'll be up $10 until you factor in the gas money and travel expences to get there..... then you realize how much you're in the hole. I don't get it??? Why so much just to compete?

I also "think" that the $25 is for entering other events besides the quad stunt comp?
I'm pretty certain about the first thing...not so sure about the second. Even still it would average out to be about $45 per event. Yes still it's not much of a payout, but the only other comp I went to didn't have a cash prize at all in the quad event.
Regardless, even if it were free to register, and you got a $100 for winning, it would still cost a lot more than that to drive down there and stay a night (which a lot of people will be doing). Yeah it does ****, but would be all for fun anyway.
The riders that don't have to drive far to get there have a chance to make a couple bucks.

We'll see though...I might have just enough time to get it done if nothing unexpected comes up.

Cool so when no one shows up I can come win it.
Nevermind it would cost me $400+ just to get a quad there $300+ for $65+25 for entry and $400+ to get back home! Thats $890 dollars just to get there and back and compete for $890 I could buy a 50 and rock it in a parking lot here

if it wasnt so far away, id do it jus to win the trophy... but it will cost 65 to enter, so thats only 35 for gas and tolls... and i dont think the work truck would make it out of NH on 35 dollars worth of gas...
o well, is anyone going to this???

Re: New England Invitational Quad Event
funny how things work out. I sell my quad because I didnt have a trailer and never really rode it. I save the money from it and eventually buy a dirt bike. same dilema, no trailer..... so i buy a bike hitch since i couldnt afford a trailer. a week later I find a perfectly fine trailer like 2 miles from my house with a free sign on it. now i need to get a quad again.:YEAH
