3rd brake

I want to start doing hight chairs on my raptr 700 and someone told me that i should get a 3rd break that goes near the clutch to stop the rear wheels.

you can, but I would just say learn without it. there aren't many people running handbrakes on quads, and there aren't many tricks out there that you really need them for.

I'm not saying handbrakes are bad, or handbrakes are good, but you can surely pretty much any trick you've ever seen without one.

How can i make a 12 o'clock bar myself. Guy wants $125 to put one on my raptor. I would do it but he needs to have it there and i dont want to go out my way to bring it in. I am not too good of a welder

pretty sick is yer foot behind the gas cap or on the side of it? Thought about trying a few last night but there isnt much room for yer foot on the tank.

EITHER WAY--- the thread is still about HC's.

highchairs just take practice... and ***** maybe, i can rock 3rd gear highchairs forever but i have came back on the bar and rode out a couple long scrapes starin at the sky!! my is that u don't need it.

the old 700 raptor....to expensive to be stunted...

handbreaks on are the shiz....now on a quad i have no idea...

i can pull wheelies for ever in 1st gear slow, but i cant in any other gear. How do you guys do them. I can power wheelie in 2nd for like 15 feet.

Yea the whoel handbrake idea just doesnt impress me. I prob wont ever put one on but i guess you could say it would def help on some tricks. Phear you sicko!!! I love that pic....Ride on you crazy *****es!!

Same question here i have tried it about 5 times and consintrate on balancing the quad and then climb up hadent figured out the best place for my foot and haven't been able to extend my leg out, but i think i'll have it soon !!!
thanks for the idia on a new trick. If i ever get it on lock, I'll post it up in a vid. I hyper extended my bum knee jumpin off the thing but it's ok i think.

While were on the topic of Highchairs

Word around here is one of the fools from VMC can highchair a 400ex in 3rd-4th gear kill the motor and coast into a scraper. then fire the ignition back up and engine break it down to ride away in a highcair wheelie.

I'm calling bullshit until I see it but it apperantly has been witnessed by many
