Re: IPOD when riding
I think Id be afraid to ride while listening to music. I listen to mostly heavy metal and Id be afraid that it would pump me up so much that Id go crazy and ride waaaaay beyond my own abilities.

I've got a few songs off the old Green Mountain Outlaws flick: Dominate Tricks. Makes me picture the video and think I can ride better than I actually can....haha. Seems to have helped so far though.

Ive gotta make this quad thing happen. I went out with the twins to the shop track yesterday and that was so awsome that I was like, "Dude, I gotta get a quad." Sleds are fun and all that, but the 3 month riding season really sucks.
Other than that, not much to really say. My sled is put away for the summer. I bought Mike's old JD and Im in the process of fixing all the stuff that Pat screwed up on it. Parts for that thing are fun to try and find (Ebay!).
All in all its same ole, same ole. Im just working on getting a job at night so that I can afford to buy a YFZ next spring.

Re: IPOD when riding
True, there are some smokin' deals right now. Id much rathar have the money to pay for it in full before I buy.
Who knows though, perhaps if I get a 2nd job at night and like it I might get one this fall. That way I can break it in on the ice all winter and it will be all broke-in and ready to rock at both Monkey Butt races and at Rob's open house next summer.
It wont be as hard to buy as you might think though.
If I get a job that pays $7 an hour and work 20 hours a week I will make about $120 a week (after taxes). That comes out to about $480 a month. I should be able to chip in another $100 per month, so in about a year I should have the $7000 for a YFZ. Plus summer is coming and at my work they put us on lots of overtime in the summer, so I might be able to chip in even more. I might sell my snowmobile too. I could probably get $2000 for my 600. Im just going to have to wait and see how things work out.
I'll make it happen, you can bet on that. I cant let the Wojos, Kutz and Blain have all the fun.
Im just glad that the trash talking isnt going on anymore like it was last year. I want to see us all become the best riders we can be (no matter if its racing or stunting) and hating on each other is only going to stand in the way of that goal. As far as I am concerned we are all friends and I have absolutely no hard feelings about the whole "drama queen" BS that went on last year.

yeah I guess I see what your talking about. Why aren't you ever with us when we go out riding, just to hang out with the guys. We are always looking for people to tape, and if you don't have a quad then you could tape.

Re: IPOD when riding
I dunno. The twins have my number, all theyve gotta do is make the call. Like I said, I was out at the shop track when then twins and Blain were riding yesterday and it was pretty cool. More than anything it was just cool to hang with the guys. Im a die-hard Yamaha guy, so it was pretty sweet to see Blair tearing it up on the YZ. Its always good to see someone out representin' big blue (but I dont hate on anyone regardless of what they ride, all that matters is that they ride).
Id be more than happy to come out and tape, all they've gotta do is ask.

Most cars don't drive on mx tracks and around in empty parking lots.
But yes on the street that post is perfectly lagit, but you can't tell me you don't crank the tunes in your car/truck when you drive!
