Re: you all know this is true..
For Best All around I would like to nominate the GasGas 450 Wild 2005 (and onwards). Kicks Z400 easily in all disciplines except for wheelies which is kinda hard (maybe I just suck, or a combination of the two). But it's bad aaas on stoppies (Brembo 2 piston calipers with braided lines stock!).
Almost as fast as a YZF during MX and XC from what I've seen. And no way nere the maintenance of the machine..
Works good on the road as well. I suppose it's not the ultimate trail machine as it's quite wide.
Beginner quad? Maybe. Got it for my wife and she has never ridden anything that resembles a quad or bike before. What's the definition of a good beginner quad? It's stable, powerband is wide and easy to handle. Very smooth hydraulic clutch and the gearbox is unbelivable.

another reason the warrior is the best trail quad is because it is narrow.

Re: you all know this is true..
Sorry man, I'd take a Z or EX over a 350 for trails any day. I think a narrow quad would be tippy-er. Plus a Z or EX doesn't have that much of a powerband to deal with, maybe if you were a very small, very new rider, but you could easily adapt. I'd have to say a Z though, 'cuz they do have a bit more power. I'm a bit biased though. 'cuz I own one.

I dunno man... first, i dont think there is ANY catagory a warrior is better in than other machines... i think the reverse is cumbersome on them, the six speed tranny's gears are too close (prolly to make up for the lack of power the air cooled 350cc yamajunk engine they half *** threw in there)
No doubt they can be stunted, trailed, and whatever else you decide to do with them... i rode my buddies waaaay back when in 04 when JT came to NH... back when Tim and Bill from HK films were into this... i was rocking that like nobodys business (in my eyes) considering it was my very first time stunting it, the cluch was slipping, and it had/still has a leak in the left rear tire... I rode the **** out of it that day, and it took it like a champ, but I'm not ready to throw any best of show award at it...
Not h8n speedy, i know its what u ride... but c'mon... u really think its best on trails and beginer bike???

Re: you all know this is true..
"Best" is a relative term. What someone thinks is great about a certain quad, another person might absolutely hate.
Personally, Id say the Banshee is the best duner, but Im sure others would argue that a bigbore 4-stroke like a DS or Raptor 660R/700R is better.
As Tiller said, its all the rider when it comes to sport quads.

LOL...sure did. Banshees have so much performance potential its not ever funny. They can be kind of finickey at times, but when they are running well: sit down, shut up and hang on!

Re: you all know this is true..
Right now all I have is a sled: '01 Polaris 600 XC EDGE X. I stunt it a little bit, but nothing really worth bragging about.
I ride my brother's Predator from time to time, but anybody can wheelie on that thing.
Im looking at getting another quad in the future, not sure when though.

Re: you all know this is true..
I here you've been saying some crap about a freind of mine by the name of Dr.D saying he can't stunt and you can stunt anything stuntable. Like snowmobiles. So I was thinking you come to the daycare where we ride and show us what you have (or don't have). Bring whatever you want to stunt. We can hook up this weekend.
