this year every **** has at least 1 stud in it so i should have some steering this year
and the rears had 2 studs down the center 2 ***** and that was it..
im just making sure every **** has at least 2 studs in for the winter
ps.. i didnt lose a single stud last year
pss .. my buddy had 1000 studs in EACH rear turf tamer last year and 750 in each front .. there was not a sole that could catch him and he turned like he was on pavement .. he even blasted a couple sleds on some straight drags

Re: Ice Ice baby
That sounds like my setup, I have (2) 1 1/2" cold kutter ice screws in each **** in the rear, i'm running a Chiy Shin (sp?) tire in the rear, it's like a turf tamer but completly flat on top with solid sidewalls able to run with 45psi which will help keep the studs planted then in the fron I'm using a pair of Kenda dominators havent really worked with the configuration yet but i got some good ideas
Just gotta keep them slots on the screws like this (=) (=) (=) and angle them a little on the outside
I'm also using knylon nuts on the inside of the tire.
Did you have any liner or slim in your tires? I'm hoping to get away without it to much extra rotating mass

no slime
no nuts
no liner
screwed the studs in with a 1/4 socket for a drill and left it
as for keeping the lines straight in the studs .. it doesnt matter for my studs
mine have a conical cup cut into the top .. the whole top of the head is sharp
