Clutch pull

The 400 ex I have has a racing clutch with heavy springs... the effort to pull the clutch is quite high and makes the clutch very touchy and cumbersome to use. Has any one else had this problem, if so, how did you address it and how well did it work? Thanks!

Re: Clutch pull

Moose and white brothers make a easy pull cluch lever !! They work GREAT :YEAH all they do is give the cable a little more leverage. I used the white brothers on my tt bike, racing gncc ,and on my kx 500. They are about 30 dollars and take 5 min. to install right next to perch. I'll take a pic. if I geta chance

Re: Clutch pull

Yea props on that lever on the 500 catman. That **** was mad easy to pull in, thats a WB clutch right? If it is then ill second that recomendation. I broke the perch but then again they are pretty weak.

And what the hell did you do to that bike haha, i blew the engine up. gotta get a new piston and a new cylinder. the head and the arm are fine but that **** has some nasty gouges in it

also, how is the cable? it might be worth the several minutes it would take to take the cable out and make sure it moves freely. My buddy had a 400ex with a mean pull, and he replaced the cable and it worked like brand new.
its worth a shot....
good luk!

I have a new cable sitting on the shelf... I'll throw it on and see how it works...
