upgrading for stunt?
Would you guys think it would be ok to jet/filter/pipes on a Z400 if you still want to stunt with it? I like riding slow wheelies almost at a stall but im afraid if I jet it then it is going to be alot harder to ride wheelies that slow. I want to make my Z faster but do not want to sacrafice any type of stunt riding with it. Thanks in advance.

one or the other, man, stunt or speed.
Stunting requires low end, low speed stuff. Sure, some higher speed stuff is cool, but you don't want it as fast as you want it torquey and slow. You can jet it up, and gear it down, but that kinda cancels each other out. The slower the better. the Z400 has enough torque and rev range to bump up a few teeth on the rear sprocket and make it one mean slow wheelie machine without losing the wheelie because you run out of revs.

A pipe will cause you to lose some back pressure because of the increased air flow BUT will give you more tourqe. I would suggest a slip on T-4 pro curcuit exhaust. Its cheap and you have the stock headers so you still have some back pressure and the slip-on will increase the tourqe a decent amount to get the front end pointing at the sky. my $.02
