well im racin my blaster this year and i dont know if if at the end of the season sell it get a z400, yfz 450, banshee, or just hook the blaster up more. any suggestrions?? i want to upgrade cuz the blaster dont feel like it has enough power for me. my blaster is piped, has reeds, jetted and airfilter.thats just performance mods. im like 5'7" and like 130 if that helps.

get the new yfz 450 if you going to race i think suzuki is coming out with a new bike to! 450z or some **** will see though!

If you can't afford a quad at $6,000 Keep the blaster in good running order........... now I'm a serious weeler dealer.
Sell it for $ 1,200 Put some money's with that get a used 400 with some upgrades for around 3 grand put some aftermarket shocks on it.
You'll have plenty of bike to work with. You can still do alot with that.
Makes for a great woods racer.
I'm looking at some works shocks at a good price.
If you can afford it and are serious about the motocross go for one of the 450's. I've rode the yamaha 450 on a supercross track and even with the stock suspention it was amazing.

$1200!!!!????!!!!?? r u serious? its an 01 its got wut i said before an extended axle, wheels and tires, bars nerfs,skids. i think its worth more than 1200. maybe 2000

Your right you could get more. I didn't think about your bike being better than one I sold pretty mutch stock few years older. I think you will make out good witchever way you go. Especialy, if you keep it in good shape. Using your bike your halph the way there. I think that was what I was trying to say.

keep the blaster and put in a CT racing 240 big bore kit and wave at those 400's as you blow by em!! :YEAH

I own a new honda 450r and a 87 250r. If ur gonna race id stay with a 2-stroke, if ur gonna wheelie get a 4 stroke and coast that *****.

I've got my motor apart right now, my rod needs replaced so i'm gonna put in a wiseco crank and rod, i milled my head .040 for more compression, and i may get an aluminum airbox too.

I'd like to know how you like it, when your done. I have a chance to pick up another blaster for about $ 800.00 so let me know please.
they claim 250r power output with that 240 big bore. Like I stated in YOUR thread they ran well on the flat track.

ct racing claims 40hp with their kit, which would stomp on anything but a built up banshee or 250r. blasterzone.com also has a kit that claims between 36 and 43 hp depending on how radical you want to go! that would be an awesome motor. Hell my basically stock blaster will outrun new 350 Raptors no problem and 300ex's. with a 240 kit they will beat stock or mildly built 400cc 4 strokes all day long.
