Little help please !!
I would appreciate any input I can get on doing nohanded wheelies.
I rode for about 2hrs. and tried to do a few nohanders
I turned my idle up about halph way seemed high would still move the quad without giving gas.Every time I tried to pull the bike up and in close to me before I tried and the front end would come down and not pull the bike hard enough.
Do I need It turned up all the way?
any replies other than squid, squid, squid is helpfull

Re: Little help please !!
no, just turn it up to aprox 2500 rpm... (i know, i know.. jus 'eyball' it...lol)
and get it up to the balance point... try riding a wheelie with the idle turned up and see if you can ride it out endlessly. Until u can ride a wheelie out endlessly, u wont be able to do a no-hander, cuz u will still be relying on the power of the engine to keep you up... basicly, in a no-hander, u turn the idle up so the machine is moving, not stalling... and u use ur weight as a little bit of a balancer.. when it starts to come back, lean a bit forward and hit the brake if needed... when it starts to go forward, lean way back (as much as needed and/or you can) and stay off the brake...
It's all about balance... and until u master that, u will have very little control...
my 2cents anywayz....
squid...
lmao...
j/k about the squid thing... hope this helps...

I crank her up all the way....
Good back brakes are a must also.
Some 400ex's are easier than others.....Z400's are almost a joke it's so easy, I NEED one of those...hehe

Re: Little help please !!
Crank the idle way up there. Try doing no throttle hand wheelies first. Then you can still feather the clutch. Once your comfortable with that go for the no handers. I'm sure you already have your left foot in the grab bar, but try to keep all your weight on it with a straight leg. That will keep the quads front end light. Other than that it's all seat time. Goodluck.

Im a fat kid (well, kinda.. but im tall too, so i run 220lbs...) and i run about 1.5 - 2 lbs in my rear... not an exact science, but basicly jus deflate em so they squat a lil bit, and then i try a wheelie... whichever way it is pullin, i deflate the oppisite tire to even it out so it goes straight... the less press u have in em, the better you can steer...
good luk man, ull have it in no time if u keep plugging at it...
