Talking Bad *** Quad stunts!

Bought an Eton Viper 50 for my boys 4th birthday.

It's bone stock, meaning 2.7hp and 220 heavy pounds dry weight. With these kind of figures you don't dare ripp it without some serious protection and I don't mean of the kind in your wallet.

Anyway, when he wasen't home I managed to sneak it out of the garaget for a test run. Here's how it turned out...

Swoosh!

Tops out around 25mph(!).

Warming up.

We're getting the hang of things...

Reach for the sky! :YEAH

Quite fun to throw this little thing around actually. More to come...

Here's the one I usually race:

Not much stock on that one.

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

It's a 2002.

High comp piston, ported and polished head, balanced and polished crank, wild cam, K&N airfilter, aluminum airbox, Jaeger +2 A-arms, Durablue rearaxel, Reiger dampers, Galfer Wave discs with braided lines, YZF 450 calipers and AP Racing maincylinder, AC nerfs, Scorpion full race exhaust...

Not all mods on pic though.

Here's another one:

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

Hey RC,

Yep, FlatTrack. SuperMotard we call it here. Around 50/50 tarmac/gravel and a few smaller jumps.

That and iceracing, MX isn't really for me. I used to race go-carts for quite a few years so I prefer smooth surfaces.

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

RunDown - I have an Audi A6 V8 as well...

Fake?

The only Photoshop I used on these were to reduce the size and compress them. They're as genuine as they come.

The reason for the full riding gear is that the photos were taken during a video shoot. I'm making a stuntvideo with a twist and thought it would be more funny to stunt the mini in full raceclothing, simple as that.

The reason for the missing right leg is very simple. I don't have one! Lost it to cancer many years ago.

Still don't belive me? Have a look at this thread, were I've posted some of my bikestunt pics...

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

Thanks a bunch! I'm working on it... Actually just came in from a session, got two more stunts down now. Working on my stoppies with the little thing but they're really weak still. The front brakes are really bad so it's hard, but I'm getting there.

Will post pics of my two other stunts as soon as I can get a cameraman though.

Dizzle - Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with it but there's a lot more coming soon. New plastics (probably silver I think), new carbonfibre spokes, new dampers and a few other tweaks. Probably get a 727 kit and thinking of FuelInjection but the company hasn't quite convinced me, yet...

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

billbanshee - Thanks!

warrior_jay - I've met and talked to him a couple of times, but I can't say I know him.

Team Austheii - It's a small world. Set up for racing? I guess you're reffering to the headlights? I take those of when I race of course. I've just used it to ride around my neighbourhood and I mainly do it come night time, that's why.

Re: Bad *** Quad stunts!

Ah... MX isn't for me. I have another set of dampers for MX but I rarely used them. I get bounced around to much it's hard enough to not get thrown of when riding tarmac/gravel/ice...

The problem comes in the jumps as well. Since I'm not symetric I place more weight on the left of the bike in the air and that causes problems. I usually balance this by leaning my body the other direction. But then there's the landing...

Nah, as I said. I prefer smooth surfaces...

As it is now it's setup for flat track/SuperMotard racing. Witch is what I mainly use it for,
