I just got this 400ex. It has quite a bit of things done to it. I dont know what clutch it has in it, but it is REALLY hard to pull. I have to use all 4 fingers and squeeze like hell to do anything.

I know this isnt normal. I have ridden a few others. Do you think my cable is binding? What else would cause this?

also make sure theyr arent any zip ties holding the cable down

ya dude the cable is pinched or frayed or rusty get a new one!

yea, could be the routing or zip ties too... check that, if not, prolly cable... best 25 u'll ever spend...lol i think it was 27 or 23... maybe not tho, dont quote me
